mt_goat The instructions say to wax the area before installing. If you do it would probably help if you take them off later.

Litemike Has anybody removed the splash guards after several years and had the paint on the car affected?

Artema Actually I've been meaning to paint mine. I'll do that this weekend.

John Bravo I just purchased splash guards today my dealership. I intend to install them tonight.

I was planning on getting them online because I found the sedan kit for $68 shipped. First, to keep it local, I gave my dealership the opportunity to earn my business (I am VERY happy with their service...Billion Honda, Iowa City).

List Price: $104
My Price: $68 + tax for a total of about $72

I figured the additional $4 is worth having them today

2006accord4 I just put some on over the weekend on my coupe. I was always jealous of other Accord people who had them when I would walk in my office parking lot

jflo916 The intrinsic error of a thread like this is that, usually, only people who are interested in, or have already installed this accessory will be searching for it. Therefore, you will hardly get any negative opinions about them. I, for one, am on the fence about getting them for my coupe.

accord06 Sedan looks really good with splash guard! It also depends on the climate if its rainy/muddy you'll love having them on.

Accordguy04 I put on OEM splash guards and I like the way it looks, but its also nice that you don't get that splash line on the rear bumper (dirt getting thrown at the bumper from the rear tires makes a distinct line).

NHAccord reduces spray especially on the bottom of the back quarter panel. If you have a dark car and they look good on mine. I got lower cost ones and am happy with them.

Are there any special modifications for the 2009 TSX guards to fit on a 2011 Accord sedan? I have the sedan in Alabaster, anyone know Acura's equivalent color? I hate the black OEM guards on the Alabaster... Seems like the TSX might be the way to go if Acura's silver matches and holes don't have to be drilled...

McGrady III I think it depends on the color of the car. I have them on my 06 graphite sedan and love them. I have seen them on lighter colored sedans and I think they stand out more and start to get ugly.

Aiden If you don't like splash guards and still want to protect your wheel well from snow and gravel then I recommend you get a can of clear Chip Guard. I sprayed Chip Guard on my wheel well after installing the mug lip kits and there's not a single scratch on it.
