galladanb My 2011 sedan has caps an steeliness, yuk!!! So, I'm looking for some nice ones. My plan is to find some gorgeous 16's so I can keep the excellent rubber that is on there. It's a money issue for now. Or, I will wait till I need new rubber and go for some 18 inch package.

However my HHR came with killa five spoke polished alloy's so we kept them.

So to answer the question, we would not change if they are nice!

Long story short I bought aftermarket rims for my old ride bc I hated my oems, and was annoyed the other model of the car I got had the better wheels ...

The point of this thread for those who have to purchase rims is would you be less likely to if your car came with a very nice set of oems?
I never felt the need to since Enkei make the 9 spoke 2007-07 V6 AT wheels. After 2007, honda started perfecting that 9 spoke design more and more for the 9th gen 9 spoke versions. Any other car, I might just to stand out a little but alos for lighter wheels for better gas mileage.

StreetLethal100 ^^ the problem with ALL black wheels is that it just looks like a dark hole where your wheels should be in your pictures. They look dirty all the time. Maybe becaues your ridin dirty....lol. You need at least a chrome lip to set it off and attract your eye to them.

rodneysteiger If they look nice I prefer to powder coat them black or gold/bronze... my choices of color. But yeah if they're cool then you don't need new rims.. maybe just new color? and low pros!

This statement applies EXACTLY to me.

Id love to get some TL-S wheels, or 8th gen V6 coupe wheels. I dont like the idea of aftermarket wheels on my 4 banger automatic honda.

Really!? You want a extra set cuz I hate those damn wheels. LOL! I cringe when I have to put them on for the winter. The exact reason why I'm in the market for some stock 04-06 TL wheels for next winter.

I agree with you. BMW cars comes with really good looking wheels which I always admire.

StreetLethal100 There are some cars that have gorgeous stock rims but not many at all. I still would lean towards putting new ones on just for the fact that it looks different then everyone else who can buy that car off the lot. A car is like a canvas. Any idiot can spend stupid amounts of money to buy any car he/she wants, but the cars I respect, are the ones that are modified tastefully and have a sence of beauty and originality to them.

My06EXcoupe Most likely not, I'd rather put the money into brake and performance upgrades.

BenjiBoy650 Depends. I did for my Accord but I felt my Mazda's wheels were perfect.

RedBull I mean, "nice rims" could mean 19" chrome hell-holes that look awful. They're nice, but if they don't complement the car, I'd buy different ones.

Wheels are designed to complement the car, not detract from it.
