I also bought my lip from SpoilerKing but it's only been about 2 months. No issues though

The dealership had installed a wing spoiler on my 03 Accord before I bought it. When I went to paint the car 10 years later I figured I could remove the 4 screws, and peel the wing off by hand easily. NOT! I tried but I think I would have bent the trunk lid trying to pull it off. I had to slice through the tape with a thin knife. Knowing this, I would still install the screws because you never know, and who wants to be liable when their wing flies off into another vehicle.

I purchased a factory spoiler for my 2015 Touring and did decide to drill the two holes as ‘required’. It only added less than five minutes to install (when you buy a factory spoiler it includes a template so you know exactly where to drill) and I feel it insured that the spoiler won’t be coming off accidentally...

I did on my 02 Viper and it flew off after the first car wash. Point being just drill dammit
