update: My 2015 needs a software update as the rep said but they won't know until i bring it in Saturday August 6th. Second time with accords! 3 times the charm?

The TSB refers to the VIN range available in the iN, which also lists campaigns, not just recalls. This, most likely, is how two other members had their vehicles identified.

Here's a screenshot of how my wife's Pilot appears with the control arm bushing TSB. The TSB also indicates there's a VIN range.

2 weeks? My dealer had them the same day it came out. I got it done today. CVT Performs like a charm! Complete difference!

For those who have had this done, what change in drivability did you notice (if any)?
Baconator, what would cause that dtc to be set?

Just had it done this morning in and out in about 1 hour. Funny that when I called the dealer on 8/4 they said I was the first one and today the service advisor told me that they had done a "few hundred" as they see over 100 cars a day. I call BS on that one but he seemed familiar with the issue and said that it's just a programming change for most but could be a new trans but if it was that bad there would be a light on the dash.

I don't drive the wife's CRV much but could it be less notchy (which has been a main CVT gripe of mine) now?? It felt less rough to me. Does this mean that the belt was slipping all along? It still vibrates at idle in drive though. There is a fix for this but I don't want to risk the creation of new problems or vibrations right now. The dealer looked super busy although very controlled and professional but I just felt like it was a get them in and out type of operation. Curious to see what the fluid is like when I change the CVT fluid. No sense in leaving it in there any longer if the belt was slipping. Car now has 13k.

Is TSB free of charge to out of warranty 3yrs/36k affected vehicles? It would be very bad if it isn't covered as it is manufacturer defects.

I can honestly say that i felt a big difference in the performance aspect of it plus the steering wheel now has more of a feel to it than before. Might be placebo effect but we will see in time!

Covered under warranty if your VIN # falls under it. Do not fall for any dealership trying to charge you.

Had it done little bit ago.

Although not *my* daily driver, I've driven this car for well over 500 miles (mostly highway) over the last week. Our flutter wasn't bad, maybe a few hundred rpm under steady state.

It is a bit premature to draw a conclusion post update. The car doesn't seem as peppy. As though eco mode is on when it's not. We'll see what it's like in a few hundred miles after the learning process has finished (both the car's if one exists and the driver).

A cvt with an issue?!?!?!?! I don't believe it. Anyone who would buy a new car with a lawn mower trans axle should have their head examined.
