Has anybody wanted to remove spoiler from accord sport to get clean uncluttered look?

You'd have to get a new trunk lid or body work to fill the hole. I personally think the deck lid spoiler is very subtle.

You can't trade trunks with a Sport unless you have an LX or EX because EX-L+ models have LED tails. They wouldn't match on the tail lamp part nor would the rear view camera sync correctly.

you could take off the tails from the trunk, no?

im sure the wiring for the camera is already incorporated with the harness for the inner tails. probably is plug and play.

You'd have to swap both camera and tails then because the EX-L+ camera is multi angle vs. not on Sports.

I had no idea the spoiler was bolted on. I always assumed the Sport/Hybrid spoiler was double sided taped.

Also, is the camera different, or is the multi angle software driven?

Speaking of holy trunks, I had to drill 13 holes for the small OEM spoiler on my old '12 Impreza. The car was only a month old and every whole I drilled made me cry a bit inside.

nothing beats a factory install.

I've seen my buddies drill holes in their trunks for aftermarket spoilers and inevitably after a few years, rust bubbles would begin to form around where the holes were drilled. There is simply no way to keep the water fully out.

I'd never add an aftermarket spoiler in my life to a car where drilled holes were required. Esp if I planned on keeping the car for more than 5 years (kept my last car for 16 years, no rust!)

For the Impreza there were no factory installed spoilers. Ones that were delivered with spoilers were dock installed. I was sure to use touch-up paint around the drilled holes for rust prevention.
