Husky Weatherbeater Floor Liners

For those looking for an alternative to the WeatherTech Floor Liners, check out the Husky Weatherbeater Floor Liners. Mine just arrived today, very happy with the fit so far.

The driver side front liner isn't cut out for the trunk button. Will you leave the button covered?

Hmm, that's actually not a bad thing. Up here in the Winter, having those #$#$ buttons on the floor is a PITA. Snow, mud, ice gets down there. They get scratched up, stuck etc.

I ordered directly off the Husky website so $131 plus $10 shipping to Canada. Free shipping for those of you in the US.

So far the only criticism is the trunk/fuel switches being covered. There is a cutout for them but I will likely leave it covered to keep them cleaner.

How's the fit? Is it exact/snug? I had Weathertechs for my 07 Civic and there were almost half an inch of space on the edges on some areas. Now that I know about Husky, I may try this type of floormatting again

Fit is very snug, originally they didn't sit as well when I had the carpeted floor mats underneath but after I removed them the fit is great. They also have nubs on the bottom to hold them in place so they won't slide. Additionally, the driver side liner works with the OEM floor anchors. They really nailed it with our Accord.

So just wondering, why these or the weather tech over the Honda All season mats? Do the husky and weather tech cover better?

I have been thinking about getting some mats like these but haven't done anything yet.

I have the WeatherTech Digital Fit and they are like the Husky mats where it has a higher lip than the OEM all-season mats so it'll retain water better if you have an accidental spill. Another positive is the rear mats have "over the hump" coverage, so it's one long mat covers the hump rather than 2 small mats from the OEM set.

Like most people have mentioned the floor liners cover much better. The raised lip prevents slush and salt during winter from staining the carpeting. If there is one thing I absolutely hate, it's cleaning salt stains from carpets after a harsh winter.

So I got mine in yesterday (gotta love Amazon Prime Saturday delivery ), and they look great!

However, it wasn't until I went to get gas that I realized the drawback of the driver side mat - it, of course, covered the gas door release which required me to lift the mat, and subsequently stab my fingers a few times with the sharp little nubs on the underside. So today, I will bust out the utility knife and cut that slot open.

Although not perfect, here is how it looks after the cut out was made:

Well, that 40% off is 40% off of full retail. FWIW, the "normal" Amazon price over the last few months is $123. $11-12 is a worthwhile discount, of course, but it's not like these are 40% off their regular price.

And I see the gray is still in stock, as is black, just not from Amazon directly. Other Amazon vendors still have them and the shipping is still free.

Kinda odd that they'd have those finger-shredding nubs under the mat where it's supposed to cover a non-carpeted area. Otherwise I'd think they left that area covered ON PURPOSE so it protects the release.
