iSimple not working after new battery

I replaced my battery yesterday and now my car doesn't recognize my isimple, any thoughts?

Anyone?

I tried disconnecting the battery and the isimple itself and nothing has worked yet. It charges my iPhone, just doesn't recognize it when I hit the CD/AUX button.

I read something about a 3 minute delay when disconnecting the battery somewhere. I don't own an iSimple but I'm researching about getting one and I recall reading something along those lines.

Hello MMOORE,

You must source back to the unit after a battery has been replaced / disconnected. To do this you will want to press the FM button then press the XM button and immediately press the tune ^ button a few times until iPod is displayed. If you press the XM button and it does not go into the XM mode you will want to perform a hard reset to the module. You can find out how to do one by navigating to the link below.

If this does not take care of your issue please call our tech support department at 866.931.8021 between the hours of 9am and 8pm EST M-F.

just reset the isimple, unplug it for a minute and plug it back in. it should work fine after that.

isimple gateway not working

I have a 2003 Honda Accord - had the isimple gateway installed and it worked perfectly. Disconnected the battery and now it does not work. Push the cd/aux button and nothing happens. Cord still charges phone.
Had the dealer remove the unit thinking something was wrong with the factory stereo - with unit removed cd/aux button still not working (nothing happens when pressed).

Have the vehicle booked into to replace stereo but then came across this thread. Is it possible that the unit will start working after it is reset, even tho cd/aux button does not seem to be functioning now even with unit removed?

I just recently got the isimple connect ISIM51. Bluetooth and USB and aux x2. It came with a red button for hard resets. I had bestbuy install mine and they installed the red switch under the dash so I could get to it without removing the parts to get to the bottom of stereo where the hook up is. I've been reading into the isimple devices cuz mine is only a week old and I been trying to find some instructions just for that particular model(not as easy as I'd of thought). But from what I read It looks like some don't come with that red switch. Try googling how to hard reset your model number. Unless you installed yours and know where that wire got ran. Or if there is one. Or go to isimple.com and call tech support.

I have a 2005 Honda Accord and ran into this issue. Can anyone confirm that this method works? I'd rather not tear apart my dash.
