Conti DWS -> Michle Primacy MXM4 or Kumho Ecsta LX? 245/40/19
Long time no post. Hope everyone is ridin their accords well.
So.. long story short I currently have Conti DWS 35k mile ran 245/45/19 (I know... its not the usual size but they fit... believe it or not). These were awesome and they look pretty new even after 35k. Looks like many forum people like the DWS - I definitely agree.
However, a metal thing stuck near the edge of one tire and 3 independent shops told me its unrepairable. I have thought about every other feasible options but decided that the new tire set would make me happy.
Critical factor - I kinda want quiet and comfortable ride so i'm thinking grand touring (Primacy MXM4) rather than ultra high performance (DWS). I hear good things about Primacy MXM4 in the forum and Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum. About $70 per tire more for MXM than Ecsta.
Any thoughts on tires?
Also, anyone bought Tirerack road hazard program? Worth extra $100?
