Maybe later you should upgrade the stock mid-pipe (1.8-2" diameter) to a more efficient 2.25" piping. Midas or a shop you trust can make the mid-pipe for $50-75.
Will changing the mid-pipe make my car run louder? I don't like louder cars .

OUCH!!! That's a ULEV. That sucks dude....I don't think doing anything with your exhaust is going to do anything. Those ULEVs don't put out much power either.

But anyway lol The header looks pretty freaking sweet. Maybe just clean it a little bit and it will look new I don't think you need a heat shield. I would love to show that off

Thx for pix. My buddy on here will appreciate them as this is what i suggested he do. Can you record your car accelerating from 0rpm to redline soon. I'd love to hear it as would he. I want him to hear vtec on the f22/23.

The VTEC sounds sweet . What's the difference between a ULEV and non ULEV? Maximing HP? Mine I think has 150?

Actually I just looked it up a bit more and it looks like you getting a header helps a lot since it's a ULEV, or "ultra low emissions vehicle." I think getting a catback would help too because apparently ULEVs have pretty restrictive cats. So I would modify that to erradicate any ULEV stuff. The only problem is they make special cats for ULEVs, so if you do the bottom of the exhaust you will need to do the whole thing, as pieces may not fit

Cat is expensive, maybe someday. I need to buy 4 tires, replace my rotor, cap, spark plugs and wires then I want to get a paint job too because my hood is fading and too many dings LOL. Sh*t all my refund money will go to her LOL.

If I have some extra then I'll also buy a new OEM headlight or the same one as yours

there's a marginal difference in HP between the A1 and A4 motors. the only real difference is the cat, both have very restrictive heads

what your exhaust gasses are doing now with the headers is racing from one stop light to another

Does the cat back replace the catalytic converter too or just better leave the OEM catalytic? Do I have A4 or A1? I've had this car for 5 years now and don't know sh*t about it until I decided to fix her up LOL

I dunno if you have A1 or A4...you have the same exact Honda model as me except mine is a LEV, not a ULEV. That's why my engine compartment looks like this:

(notice this is before I painted my heat shield)

To answer your frist question, simply think what cat back means, in a literal sense.
To answer your second question use the search button, or google, or wiki.

To my understanding its from the Catalytic going to the back right? LOL! So I would assume they don't replace the catalytic converter. Thanks.

If I use a high flow cat would my car sound louder?

This is from an article I saved a few years ago. They bolted-on parts one at a time and then put the 2.3L DX Accord on a dyno. The header came after a CAI and a Greddy catback. For some reason the article didn't list torque gains/losses.

"Headers are another critical ingredient in the performance recipe. Wanting to retain 50-state legality and maximize performance, we opted for a DC Sports 4-2-1 header. For the third item in a row, horsepower increases were made from the beginning to the end of the powerband. The DC Sports header added 3.6 peak horsepower to put us at 119.5."
