Battery recommendation

I had trouble this afternoon starting my car on a cold start before going to work and remembered some people on here having trouble with that because the battery is too small. Which battery would you guys recommend to replace this one? I have a 2010 i4 LX-P

I just threw a new one in today. Went out to start the car this morning and it just clicked.

Very happy that I have the backup battery pack in the trunk. Put that on it and it fired up.

Didn't screw around getting the exact replacement (Interstate fellow said a group 35 wouldn't fit and would hurt my car).

Put in a Group 35. All is well once again.

It's pathetic that these batteries are such garbage. This battery (old one) had a date code of February 2012 (must have been replaced just before I bought the car) and was a Honda battery. That is terrible. I think my '72 JD 110 has a slightly larger battery.

I saw your pic in the 9th gen forum. Looks like you had to fiddle a bit to get the group 35 in. What was the original size, group 51?

don't jump generations, the 9th gen is different - the 8th gen box is big and will take anything once you remove the spacer.....remember if you can get a the crossbar over it and torqued down, it's not going anywhere...Lots of people order all the parts of a v-6 - batt box, etc - I don't care about that stuff...I do what works and don't care how it looks.... you may feel different. Here is a group 24 in my last car (09 LX-S like your car) It needed an jumper cable as terminals were on wrong side. This worked for 4 years...get someone to help you - remember any batt is OK if it is 550 CCA or bigger.....

Both the Group 35 and 51 were used in the LX-P, mine has the 35, but like everyone says, it can be made to fit if it didn't on yours. You want the highest CCA you can get. GO BLUE!

Go to Costco and get one...I have bought car batteries for years from Costco...Only had one issue yrs ago where the battery died after only having it for a year...Brought it back and they gave me a brand new one. No questions asked.

Mine also came with a Group 35 (luckily). I dropped in a Interstate MTP-35, 640CCA.

Thanks. If you got the MT-24F, the terminals would have been in the right location. But you made it work, so that's what counts.
