Grounding Kits-functional or pure myth?

One of my friend just sold a car and give a whole box of all kinda tuning items for Honda. One the item was HKS Gold Plated Circle Earth - Grounding kit with 24-karat plated main terminal. There are various sours claims the Grounding kit, horse power increases and "smoother shifting" but you know, all of this that we read is pure myth.I decide to take a shot on grounding and see if its works on Honda. Here's my set-up
1 - Battery - throttle body
2 - Battery - alternator
3 - Battery - Intake Manifold
4 - Battery - cylinder head
5 - Battery - the transmission
6 - Battery - Passenger Fender Well (Chassis)
7 - Battery - Driver Fender Well (Chassis)
Honestly i don't feel any HP increases but i feel big difference on smoother shifting the Car Starting Improves,Car Stereo Sounds was a lot better, Acceleration Response, engine sound more stable.
Also there's a proof of DYNO test by various car tuning magazines saying Grounding kit is really work and give some HP to your car.SOURS: Here is a link to a dyno-tested 2002 Suzuki Aerio SX. According to this article/dyno, a grounding kit added 3-5 hp.

SECOND SOURS:

could you also take pictures of each connection? I'm trying to figure out where you put the:
2 - Battery - alternator
3 - Battery - Intake Manifold
4 - Battery - cylinder head
6 - Battery - Passenger Fender Well (Chassis)
7 - Battery - Driver Fender Well (Chassis)

I did the Big 3 upgrade but I don't know where the grounding point of the alternator is

search online for HKS Gold Plated Circle Earth - Grounding Ground System Cable Wire Kit. I would recommend it to buy Universal kit. In the package you will get one single 20' cable, you able to cut for custom length.Tomorrow i will provide more info where you can buy (+/-) main terminal and replacing main OEM cable to 3 times thicker Royal Ground cable.
Here's a info on high quality Battery Terminals i use

I’ve heard grounding kits can help the power windows move up and down faster. I don’t know if that means there was problem or if it really does help electricity flow easier in a “healthy” car.

grounding kits can help in various ways, like cranking ability, really anything with decent load but it will help more on older vehicles were the stock grounding is compromised .
On new vehicle it might not help much as grounding is still good but it also depends on size of OEM cables .

If your vehicle does not have voltage drop issues then its just not going to help . But over time the ground is weak link in many vehicles and corrosion is what hurts the connections through cables, mounts, frame etc .

Considering how weak the stock grounds (actually, stock wiring in general), grounding kits will help out a lot to help stabilize the entire electrical system, making things more stable and relieve some unneeded stress from the stock system.
