Were your engine die because you push the car over the limit? I heard people in Dubai are crazy when driving car.

What kind of ecu management or tuning did you use? This would be an amazing swap to do since it would allow the usage of headers.

I'll take K24 over K20a2 anytime, especially in heavy3000+ lb vehicle .

Not to bug in on a debate that I don't know much about, but when I had my honda element sc (which has a K24 also) people were talking about swapping rsx headers over. Also, if I'm not mistaken, OBX makes a header for the element and a lot of the skunk 2 stuff also swaps over (upgraded throttle body ect.).....not sure if this helps, but figured I'd mention it.

I think you need to rethink your statements .

How long is the K20a family out, wait a bit, you will see aftermarket parts for K24z and tuneable .
You need TQ in heavy vehicle, this isn't a old civic . I don't want to need to rev engine to 5k just to get it to go .

Turbo is perfect match for k24Z's . Look to new civic SI, I hear there turbo and flashpro in the works . That might not help Accords as it not same but my guess TXS would also get green like once civic SI is supported .
no reason that other components, like cams, pistons (probably already) etc won't come .

The k20 has headers? I thought it was a four cylinder, which has a (i.e. ONE) header.

By headers, I think people are including both intake headers AND exhaust headers.

The K24 has an integrated exhaust header that can not be removed and swapped, unless you managed to cut it just right or replace that whole portion of the engine block.

One of my previous cars was a 2002 Acura RSX-S with the 200 hp K20 engine w/CAI. Very sweet engine. However, it lacked torque. If I road with passengers, that extra weight severely hurt performance, even after the VTEC shift. Knowing that the Accord is at least 500 pounds (three to four passengers) heavier than the RSX-S, I would be very curious to know the bottom line performance. It is a very cool engine swap, but I must question if it has the torque to really deliver the goods.

it still has only ONE intake header and ONE exhaust header... what do you mean by "replace that whole portion of the engine block" ? like replace the whole engine?


the swap is still awesome indeed.. opportunity to do k24/20 and tune....

huh?? Intake manifold you mean? Any inline 4 and 6 only has 1 exhaust manifold. V6/8/10/12 have two, one on each side.
