Did you run it for 60 seconds and then check or did you do the actual Honda manual procedure:

1. Park the vehicle on the level ground.
2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on), and turn the engine off.
3. Remove the dipstick (yellow loop) (A) from the dipstick guide tube, and wipe it with a clean cloth.
4. Insert the dipstick back into the dipstick guide tube.
5. Remove the dipstick, and check the ATF level. It should be between the upper mark (A) and the lower mark (B).

You might be due for a drain and fill anyways as your fluid doesn't look the pinkish red that is should.

DRIVE around until the trans. warms up. Park on a flat even surface, you have 90 seconds to take a reading. Check the stick 3 times. Wipe on a white paper towel to look color.

Go to the local Honda dealer to get the tranny fluid. Anything other than Honda spec fluid, you better have couple grand laying around for a tranny rebuild.

Had you gotten the V6, you wouldn't be risking the type of ATF you are using. I'm just sayin'.
