A bit worried.. pouring rain + tint?

hi all.. it's raining cats and dogs here in norcal. it was sunny when i dropped my car off till after 3hrs later it's now pouring.

the car is beautiful~ tinted with LLumar 35% back, 50% front.

just worried that it's raining and in 2hrs i'll be home having it in the garage. at least tomorrow will be a sunny day, so plan to take her out and let her bake in the sun.

should i wipe down or anything like that tonight when i put her into the garage?

It shouldn't affect the tint since they usually tint from the inside of the windows.

Not an expert by any means, but I am sure its fine, even if some drops got on the inside of the glass. I personally wouldnt recommend that you touch it now because it hasnt "set up" yet. Just let it bake tomorrow in the sun and you should be fine, if for some reason it isnt, take it back.

The tint is on the inside of the windows so you'll be fine. I say give it an extra day to cure if it's going to be put in a cold garage.

I usually advise 3 days before rolling down your windows. If you can manage it, I'd run 7 days before rolling them down. Just make sure you get ample time to bake in the sun. Just because it rains or gets cold won't make it worse or damage it, but it will delay the time it takes to cure completely.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

If you find a good sunny day, go to the mall or a movie or something and just keep it outside at the end of the parking lot of something. The more sun, the better. If after a week of good quality sun/heat, you find some bubbles, take it back and have them diagnose whether it is still water, or if it is indeed a water bubble.

humm.. no, not my first car. but my first car with tint. my other civic that died already had tint on there, so this is actually the first time i've had to pay for tinting.

yeah like everyone else has said, it shouldnt affect your tint. The curing time might be delayed until its a little warmer out. As zex said, dont roll down your window. When you have your windows tinted, a lot of times after its done things through the window look warped and out of wack its because of the water on the inside and the tint hasn't made full contact with the window just yet. 2 weeks after my ek9 was tinted i still had tiny bubbles, the guy said it was normal and to just get a card or a fingernail and rub it a little bit and make sure it gets in the sun. after a few more days the bubbles were gone and the tint was perfect. JUST DONT ROLL DOWN YOUR WINDOWS. If you went to a reputable place they should cover it if it looks like shit, just make sure you dont tell them you rolled down the window or else they might say it voids their warranty or guarantee since they told you not to.

Let your tint dry naturally wherever you park it, it will take a week or more for it to dry, DO NOT WIPE down and DO NOT OPEN OR CLOSE windows, touching tint before it is dry will scratch tint, lowering windows will scratch tint, rain is not a problem, Regards
