Hardcore 3m Low Profile Double Sided Tape... where to get?

As part of a mod I'm planning on doing this weekend, I've got to remove my roof spoiler temporarily, which I'm sure will destoy the double sided sticky tape that it uses to attach to the car.

Does anyone know where I can buy tape that is similar to what it came with for when I'm ready to reattach it?

I've seen double sided sticky tape before but its generally really weak and kidna thick. Whe I need is something more low profile and thin.

Anyone know where I can pick that up? Car parts store? home depot?

You need 3M Molding Acrylic Double Sided Attachment Tape or 3M VHB Tape for stronger bond. Advance Auto Parts or Auto Zone should have it.

another thought

when you prep the area to re-attach the spoiler...
don't use a blade to remove the residue.
Use rubbing alcohol... make sure to take care not to touch the paint on the roof or the rubber seal.

If you have masking tape, prep with that and then rub with alcohol.
