Thanks for the post. It makes me much more confident doing this on my car.
Just a small note. If you get rough or high idle after cleaning throttle body you might nee to do "idle learn procedure". Details about this procedure Air element cleaner+ ECM/PCM idle learn procedure

I've also got check engine light after cleaning. Unfortunately I have no tool to reset ECU. Hopefully error will go away after some time.

Have a friend sit in the drivers seat and press the accelerator all the way down and hold with his right foot. Now, you can clean the inside of the throttle with a rag and CRC.

Yes you can still open the butterfly valve with your finger and clean inside.

Does cleaning the TB REALLY make a difference? The YouTube videos I just watched basically just get a rag dirty, they don't remove any significant quantity. There's not like a mountain of gunk blocking the entrance or anything...

Thats what I'm wondering, I installed an intake yesterday and thought about buying some throttle body cleaner to clean mine. But it looked pretty clean, didnt see any grime/dirt or anything.

Throttle position sensor.
Does your year have cable throttle or electronic throttle? I see it's cable
Reteach your throttle with the appropriate relearn procedure for your year car.
Could also do the battery cable thing to reset the ECM.

You're not supposed to spray the electrical bits of the throttle body. That's your problem. Try wiping off the TPS sensor.

Edit: Or you didn't plug in the TPS sensor. Which was the case.

Thank you all!
It is just that I didn't put back one of the plugs (maybe sensors) right.. I plugged it
again and erase the code, and everything is good now!

Thanks!
