This thread should be titled:

How many people have you known who have owned an Accord. Then the numbers rise exponentially.

I'm currently on my 6th Accord. I have had a 1st Gen, 2nd Gen, 4th Gen, two 6th Gens and now my 7th Gen. I had a Toyota between owing the 1st and 2nd gen but other than that all my cars after owning that first Accord have been Hondas.

Just remembered. I could say I am currently on my 7th Accord if I count the 2004 TSX I owned since it is the European Accord.

2010 RDX
2008 Mercedes ML350
2005 TL - SOLD

accords that I have owned

12 that I've owned since 1988 to my current 2014. My oldest son has an 01, our cousin has an 02, my niece has a 98 and my sister has a 99. They all liked them because an Accord was always one of the many cars that was in my driveway when they would visit me. No matter what I would always have an accord in my driveway. So if they would ask me about a vehicle to own it was the Accord the only accord that I never owned was the 94-97. And the 03-07 body style.

I'm on my second one as of last Thursday. It almost didn't happen.I was going to buy a 2008 Camry, but the Toyota dealership sold it a while ago and left it on the website. On a whim,2 days later I stopped at the local Honda Dealer and found my 07 Accord.I was so happy that I could stay with Honda!Toyotas aren't bad,but I wanted, and could not find, an affordable Accord until I saw this one.

Beside she can't stop me from changing cars as often as I do because I'm using my loot not hers :-) and oh yeah she still around we've been together 20 years and married for 18 years of them. I have owned three Accords.

1st: 1985 5spd, 2 door hatchback in Champaign Beige Metalic. This is my favorite car ever!

2nd: 1999 I4 Auto EX 4 door in Heather Mist Metallic.

3rd: 2003 V6 Auto EX 4 door in Eternal Blue Pearl.

Hopefully I'll be adding number 4 soon. Looking to get a MSM Sport w/6spd manual.

Details in my signature.
I buy them new, and keep them at least a dozen years. I look at other cars, when shopping, but keep ending up with another Accord anyway.

d1backwoods likes this.

03 EX V6 Sedan auto (NBP, then Ford Blue) - traded in after 13 years (135k miles)
16 EX I4 CVT with sensing (KCM) - 15,000 miles so far
