If you had to choose ONE type of vehicle

Which would it be?

Only one.

Let's say the Government enacted a one car per household law (excluding children over 21 in the same house) and it has to be a regular vehicle. No buses or overly large trucks (SUVs are OK). At the same time they enacted a law saying all vehicles had to have the exact same price of $100.00.

Which would it be?

If we had to streamline to one, it would be the Pilot....it's been a wonderfully adaptable vehicle! It has the seating for guests, it has enough pull power for the boat, enough cargo area for the Home Depot runs & the bells & whistles we like. (Nav & heated seats being top on that list) Of course, that's why we bought it in the first place!

I picked family sedan. I could expand it by dropping the seats to hold more stuff, I could do more things to it to make it drive better, plus I'm getting the highest gas mileage out of the options. I'd rather get a hatchback (ala Mazda6), but Honda don't make them big enough (or 4 doors for that matter).

I'd get myself an SUV or a minivan. Acura MDX or Honda Odyssey.

I'd want space to haul stuff without having to rent a truck from home depot every time!

Same here. Honda Accord coupe. It's the only car I have. It's also the only car I want. The only other thing I'd seriously consider would be a CR-V or a Pilot.

...I also voted for the family sedan/Accord, there are lots of great reasons its one of the most successful automotive categories, and the Accord just makes it that much more successful...and enjoyable at the same time.

Hard decision...
Im gonna change mine to cars i will/would have if i had the money right now
Accord coupe--thats my realistic choice
Family Sedan--Acura TL
SUV-- BMW X5, or a MDX, or a RX330
MiniVan--Toyota Sienna (Hey, i work at toyota)

That pretty much sums it up
If i had to pick a car to keep forever.. It would be a Accord EXv6-Navi coupe

I wonder what a 7th gen with 400k would drive like??

I'd want a sporty, stylishly designed car thats big enough to hold 4 or 5 adults comfortably and still get good gas mileage. Hmmmmm now what car would that be???
