Actually, there's 4 in the house...2 desk tops, 2 laptops.

The only Apple product we've had was our very first computer....an Apple IIe. Now that was a VERY long time ago!!

Back when "gaming" was an Atari....anyone play River Raid?

We still have the old Atari, old Nintendo up in the attic & all the games too. Can you say "packrat"?

I had an old atari! I had football, knockout, qubic (?), a space game, and a game that you had this ranger that swung on jungle greens....I have no idea the name of that game.

Kinda odd....as the next game system I owned (my brother had a Playstation and XBox) is the Wii.

I don't play many video games.

All of ours are XP.... no Vistas. We could've got either in the last laptop, but opted for XP.

I use both, but I advocate Macs. I have an iMac in my living room for internet, youtube, music, etc, a MacBook laptop and a high end PC desktop for gaming. I would really like to fo with a MacPro running Vista for gaming, but I just don't have the money. I will be getting a Mac mini here soon to replace the old iMac G5 I am currently using.

.....I had this tech visit for a virus last fall. Really sharp dude. I'd go to sea with him.

Anyway, he said - - - as he furiously typed away on my infested PC - - - you ought to consider a Mac. Forget viruses, auto defrag et al. He mentioned a stream of positives as he worked at high speed to eradicate insects............

He was right. I have this thing about bright folks (wish there were more o them).........

So I laid out an impresssive amount of my Naval Reserve bread for a MacBook.

AphaM said it all.

best, ez....

I have been a Mac guy since the mid 80's...I currently using my iBook. Planning on getting the new 24 inch iMac later this summer.

I do use a Dell PC at work. They are not as user friendly as the Mac.

Macs are like Hondas, i.e., excellent quality, reliable, minimal maintenance required, easy to use and they look great.

Mac is amazing! Apple's customer service is above and beyond what it should be. 2 days ago the battery of my MacBook stopped working, and I went into a (newly opened) apple store here in vancouver, and eventhough my warranty was over for just over a month, they still replaced my battery for free when they could have charged me 120 bux for it. Needless to say that im happy! 4 hour battery life FTW!
