I normally only punch it to go around people who either don't know how to merge or are going 10 miles under the speed limit. Most of the time I'm a normal maybe 5 over the speed limit driver so I can keep getting my 33+ mpg out of it so I only have to fill up once a week.

As I am getting older {52} I don't pound the heck out of a car like I did when I was younger. I don't speed, always the speed limit. I don't drive all that much. My Accord is 16 months old and it only has 10,600 miles on it. I plan this is going to be my last car so she has to hold up until I die!!!! Dave

I'm past the point where I drive my car hard. I rarely do jackrabbit starts unless I'm testing something. I do admit that sometimes on empty stretches of highway, I will open it up a bit and enjoy the V6's smooth power but for the most part I drive my car gently. I suppose that's why the majority of my Hondas have gone well past the 200k mark.

I drive in the middle usually. Today some asshat pulled out right in front of me in his ford 500, so I had to lay on the brakes. Passed him at the first opportunity and went on my way. I've only got 260 miles on it, so I figure I should take it moderately easy

I don't push my car. Probably because it's stock and there's no "fun factor" from accelerating hard...yet.

I'll probably be more spirited again once I have my intake and exhaust.

I drive it like I mean it!
I am very roadrageous and I can't help it. I mash on the gas and my mpg is horrendous and getting worse. I am quite impatient... sooooo..........
If I am ever taking it easy, it is a conscious purposeful decision (and effort).
All that said, I am very careful, alert, watchful/observant and a defensive driving pro. Also, I hate speed cameras.

A car is meant to be enjoyed and I enjoy but I dont drive the crap out of it. The usual day is a drive to work but when I get onto an on ramp or when passing someone or just feel like getting up to speed fast I do like to get the revs up to feel it pull. I rarely take it to redline but 6-6.5 is common. As a never before Honda owner it takes getting used to, the severe lack of low end torque so I'm getting used to getting the revs up past 4k to get some acceleration happening.
It's a fun car, great sounding engine when it revs high but I dont have any delusions of it being a race car.

I used to drive the '99 like it was a Corvette. And she was able to handle it. The '07 is just too nice and too new to me.She gets driven like a Bentley, steady and carefully.

My car has less than 600 miles on it and I have already been at wide open throttle about 15-20 times. I bought the car because it was meant to be driven. My car is Auto and they programmed the red line at a certain point for a reason. So far I have averaged just under 18 MPG, but that is ALL city driving which it is only rated to get 21 anyways.

I also enjoy taking care of my car. I put 89 Octane fuel in it and clean it once a week with Meguires gold class cleaner. After all the snow stops and the weather gets better (and the car gets a little more miles on it) I will run through a full clean/clay/polish/wax. I also keep the interior taken care of with Meguires gold leather cleaner.

Lastly - I am very avid on car maintenance. I check my air cleaner every ~1000 miles, and with this new oil life meter I will change my oil directly at 15%. I live under the idea that a car can be driven anyway as long as you take care of it. Keep an eye out for erosion, buy premium parts when replacing old parts (Spark Plugs, Battery, ETC)

i didnt fully push my car after the tsx IM...however after the CF hood and some minor stuff i did, ive barely pushed it...Also after all these mods, its fun to see how well the car can torque through at low rpm... idk if its bad if i drive around at 1300-1700 rpm n 5th gear 35-45 mph
