Hmm, I'd suggest just picking your personal one. Because you chose that one, you didn't choose your company provider.

As of last month I'm with Cingular. The few years before that I was with Tmobile. I had a great plan with Tmobile and I never came close to using all the minutes, but I really wanted a new phone. I thought about buying an unlocked one and sticking with them but Cingular had a few I read a lot of good things about. Since I signed up with them I got a new Sony W810i for free. I like the phone a lot -- very good call quality & music player and the cameara is outstanding. I was worried about having less mintues but I didn't use them all last month even though I was on my phone more than normal while I was on the East coast for a week. Glad I made the change because I love this phone.

I use sprint with a PPC-6700 which I use to access this site most of the time. It is awsome. I stayed with sprint because of the phone and the EVDO network. You can get cable modem speed with you laptop in the car. I love it. Verizon has the same phone and same type of network at a higher cost.

It sounds like sprint corp is getting pretty tough on their customer service people. I have always had my best luck emailing support.

It also sounds like sprint is cancelling people who use the free roaming too much.

I was originally with CellularOne when I got my first phone in 2000. Verizon bought them out, and I've been with them ever since. Every time my contracts expire, I look at the other providers, but I keep coming back to Verizon. They've got an excellent network and they've always treated me right. I currently have their Motorola Razr V3m with the VZ Navigator software and I really like it.

Psh. Sprint can't be hard on anyone. All you have to do is threaten to cancel and you can ahve any phone you want for the new customer price. As far as I'm concerened sprint is a pushover. I thought about the PPC-6700, glad to hear you like it, I may buy one used to try it out.

Verizon only. There service (not customer service) is great. And I still have unlimited data. That's it!
