How much are these grilles and how hard are they to install? Does the front bumper got to be removed? VERY tempted to order one

Yep you have to take off the front bumper. Definitely need a trim tool kit, I got one on Amazon for $10. Helps a lot with popping the clips and getting at the retaining clips - 4 on each side under the headlight.

Oh, the Irony!

There certainly is some irony in the fact that folks are buying this ^ exceptionally good-looking replacement for the chrome grille. Imagine if the replacement had been the original grille. Buyers would be howling at how cheap Honda had become and complaining about the "need" for more chrome.

Personally, I think it's only a matter of time until the 10th Gen is (ahem) "updated" to this design if Accord sales continue at last month's pace (20k units sold).

Righty tighty, lefty loosey. After this though I'm convinced that clips are the work of the devil.

As the owner of the 9.5th gen sedan, I'm just here to say that I'm jealous of this being an option for the 10th gen. Good for you, folks!

I got it back together after dark tonight. Will try to get some pictures tomorrow outside. This is the grill it should have come with originally. I haven't had a red car since my 2000 Prelude which I got rid of in 2002 when I got my S2K so when I saw this I had to get it as it reminded me of that car.

Nice, I'll be waiting. How difficult was the diy? Need to replace any clips?

The site forgot who I was today and ended up having to re register using same username. Odd. Yeah broke clips under the headlights. Had to break out the epoxy.
It's not too bad. Not something I want to do again anytime soon though.

Were you able to fit the full piece in your car to drive it home to install? Or did you need a bigger vehicle?

Yes, I just dropped both rear seats and both boxes fit in.

Perhaps if enough people do this Honda will be kind enough to include the instruction sheet as an addundum in the owners' manuals!

This is not a perfect solution to the (ahem) "issue" with the original grille, but it certainly is an improvement. Fortunately it's not particularly difficult or expensive.

That doesn't look too bad at all. Installing the Honda hitch on our CR-V was much more involved that that.
