I bought my j pipe from excellerate performance. I just put your vehicle in and they did not show a listing for a j pipe compatible with your car.

My brother also got another xlr8 j pipe for his 2008 Acura TL type s. That is listed in the add you posted as a compatible vehicle for the Tsudo j pipe.

Therefore I'd have to deliniate and say the Tsudo application chart is incorrect because it's seems the j pipe cannot be interchangeable between your car and the TL type s. That being said. It probably works for one or the other.

From my experience with exhaust mods, fitment has to be bang on or the else your screwed. I bought a set of OBX headers for my cl type s a while back and it screwed me.

Never again will I cheap out. I always buy the good stuff.

I had a similar negative experience attempting to install Pacesetter headers to my car last spring. Never again will I cheap out on an engine part.

I would try it...I had an "eBay" header in my Si and its 6 years strong. No leaks. It was Kidd racing at the time and it's now PLM and they've become popular. I've heard decent reviews from the civic community about tsudo products. Then again you get what you pay for. All I'm saying is I would try it, not that it won't fail you later lol. Of course if a used Xlr8, rv6 or atlp comes up I would definitely buy that

I have the XLR8 on my kids 6-6, I thought it was a well designed J-Pipe, with noticeable gains. $300 used? That's a good deal. I would have jumped on it.

I say just go for it. I'd be interested to see how long it lasts compared to other name brands. If it cracks or something you can always get it rewelded. I heard one on a TL on acurazine and it sounded great. Everyone on the forum was flaming the guy for buying it, but just because they didnt like tsudo. I'm all about the off brand good stuff. The thing is I've also had name brand stuff that sucked. So I'm down to try the cheaper stuff as long as I don't find blatant proof that it actually is unreliable. Reviews have to start somewhere...
