Removing Dealership Logo

Why dealerships put these on their cars, I don't know. They're ugly, and it throws off the look of the car.

How can I remove the dealership decal from the back of my car? Is it just a sticker? Or is it something painted on, that will cost me some cash to remove?

It's either a badge like "Accord" or just a sticker.

If it's a badge, use a hairdryer and floss.
I don't know what to do if it's a sticker.
Good luck.

Alright, I'm almost positive it's a sticker. Anything I should avoid in the removal process (heat, humidity, etc... I don't want it to leave any residue.)

Get some "Lift Off" which you should be able to find most auto stores. It works really well. I used it to remove dealer installed pinstriping on my old car.

I've used Goo Gone for other projects around the house. I might as well use that.

Goo Gone worked fine on my car when I got rid of my sticker and Accord badge. There's automotive Goo Gone which is what I used, didn't hurt my paint or clearcoat as far as I could tell.

Why not going to the dealer that put the sticker in the first place? If they deny your request tell them that you will change the sticker to: This dealer sucks. But I guess any publicity is good publicity...

It's called advertising, it's FREE, and EFFECTIVE. I told the stealership on the day of purchase, if they're not paying me $100.00 bucks a day, I will take the damn thing off. Imagine ME advertising for them, and not getting anything in return?

There is automotive Goo Gone??? I used a hair dryer to remove the dealer sticker and regular goo gone to remove any residue...Hopefully using the wrong goo gone did not hurt the car paint/finish
