Brake Bolt Torque Specs?

Morning all. Today I will be replacing my wifes front brakes with all new rotors&pads. She has an 03/v6/ex/sedan. Can anyone tell me the correct torque specs for the bolts for the caliper adapter and the caliper itself? Many thanks.

I don't know where they got that picture from on the other thread but the picture from alldatadiy.com shows 37lbf.ft. My previous 6th Gen V6 required 34. 26 must be for the smaller 4-cyl brakes.

Those pictures came directly from the Honda service manual. I believe 26 is for the rears. The V6 sedans have the same brakes as the I4's. Only the V6 coupes have larger rotors on the front.

2003 accord v6 sedan caliper torque specs, front caliper bolts 37 ft-lbs. Rears are 17 ft-lbs. Caliper mounting bracket bolts are 80 ft-lbs for front and rear. Make sure to torque lug nuts to 79 ft-lbs when you put tire back on. Values are for 2003 V6 accord. From my Haynes manual.

For the most part, except the front caliper guide pin/bolts. Here are the torque specs for your I4 accord. Caliper mounting bracket bolts are 80 ft-lbs. Caliper guide pin/bolts are 26 ft-lbs for the fronts and 17 ft-lbs for the rears. Make sure you hold the guide pin in place with another wrench when you're torquing down the bolt that goes inside of it. Wheel lug nuts are 79 ft-lbs. Hope this helps you out.

The rear caliper bracket mounting bolts are 14 mm on the I4 Accord sedan, and should be 28 ft-lbs according to (edit: it is 41 ft-lbs, see below). The 79 ft-lbs spec is for front calipers with 17 mm bolts. I read this post and tried to torque to 79-ft lbs on the 14 mm rear caliper bracket bolts, breaking one bolt, and stretching another one badly. I should have felt something was off, but I don't work on cars too often and it slipped my mind. This post is one of the first when googling for "accord rear caliper bracket torque" so I have awoken the thread to post a correction.

Edit: The rear caliper bracket torque spec is 41 ft-lbs and not 28 ft-lbs as stated above. After seeing BLCFLSH's post and checking the service manual myself, I see it is 41 ft-lbs. Lots of misinformation about 7th gen Accord rear brake caliper bracket specs on various forums it seems. Especially posts stating 80 ft-lbs front and back. The post I linked is wrong as well.

BLCKFLSH:

I've probably learned and forgotten this ten times....but the V6 6 Speed COUPE has larger front brakes than the V6 6 speed SEDAN, correct?

If so, are the torque specs for the calipers the same?

They must be the same as the automatic V6, as far as torque specs. My service manual only covers the 03-05 Accords, so it doesn't cover the 6speed sedan, only the 6speed coupe. I think only the 6speed coupe has the larger front rotors.
