You don't have to worry about the heating element, unless you plan on hooking up a 12V switch to turn it on/off. My car already has heated mirrors so it wouldn't have been an issue for me.

But if you're absolutely set on heating mirrors, watch Long's video on how to install the Shark Racing mod and you'll see on the mirrors in his vid the heating element on the glass at 020mins

Doing it on a stock 7Gen mirror is a bit different than the video.
There is this Tar material on the back. I created this DIY couple years ago.
In this DIY i ran it to the back and through the door harness. You don't have to you can just run it to the front of the car so much easier.

^^ Listen to Long, datdesi... he's da man at this sheit haha Also, I wired them to the front turn signals - there are 3 wires to each harness: constant 12V power (running lights), black ground in the middle, and the turn signal (blinker). You tap into the blinker wire (red w/ blue stripe on driver side, brown on passenger side).

Mitchell: I agree with you - if I had a sedan and was looking to upgrade my mirrors, I'd definitely go Inspire. Damn JDM models get everything cool! lol

but if they are power folding, 9x/10 chance they are heated. I lost my heat element with the TSX mirrors but that's ok for now. If I miss it that badly, I can easily swap my OEM ones back on for winter

The Accord Euro R Mirrors also have that feature! I was planing on gettting them but there is a lot of work inorder to make them work. If i remember correctly the Euro R mirrors have power folding, auto dimming, and are heated.

Note: Most to all JDM Inspire mirrors come out of Japan. If you search Inspire mirrors on ebay sometimes you can find a set. The best price I've seen was 350 + shipping for 2 mirrors and the button to fold. The mirrors were not the same color as my car at the time and I was to broke to afford that.
Geeze 5 hundo plus for mirrors? Plus paint? We are talking over $600!

I'll take some coilovers for that

^ THIS ^

Not worth that kind of money, unless being replaced due to damage or malfunction.

TSX Mirrors Installed

Imagine how frustrated you'd be if someone clipped off one of your 300 dollar custom mirrors. Where would you find another one readily? Gotta paint another one, customize another one... Huge PITA if you ask me. I would go with coilovers if I had to choose between the two as well.

haha what expense? me and Long traded out-right and even paid our own S/H to each other Mirrors were a barter, not an expense

btw here's a pic at night to show how bright they actually are

My LED turn signals deliver tomorrow (dayum Prez Day!) so I'll show another video at night to show y'all the final outcome. Right now the mirrors blink a little faster than the stock halogen bulbs which is driving me nuts
