OEM spark plugs or not?

My 04 accord is at 114k now and I was thinking about replacing the spark plugs.
Honda wants a lot for OEM spark plugs.

On all my other cars I normally just get NGK at autozone.
But with my accord i just wanted to know if the K series motors are more picky about the which park plug.

NGK at AZ were $9.99; Honda dealer near the world class university priced at $22 and change...........

I'm at 116k on the factory Iridiums (NGK or Denso). I'll put it the NGK's from AZ at about 120k (so far: no hard starting, bad idle, MPG drop, missing or thrown codes)

best, ez....

Either Denso or NGK is what Honda says to use. No need to buy directly from Honda.

NGK and Denso are OEM. It all depends when Honda built your motor. I changed mine at 100k and to tell you the truth they did'nt look that worn. Mine came with the NGKs so that is what I put back in, 06 EX-L Accord with 185k. You can buy them at Autozone for 9.99 ea. IMPORTANT... change them out when your engine is cold.
