Will 17inch Acura TL wheels fit my accord?

i have 04 accord lx 4 cynlinder and i want to upgrade my wheels to 05 Acura TL's 17inch star shaped wheels.

1 Will these fit my accord?
2 how much harsher will the ride become?

The wheels/tires will fit, and the ride will harshen due to less rubber between you and the road, but the handling will improve.

Jason, try doing a search of the forums because I am positive that this has come up before with all the technical aspects explained.

Also, if you end up getting those rims, let me know how much you paid and where as I am also interested in upgrading to 17" TL rims.

Current Honda:

i do alot of driving (3k per month) so i need a smooth riding car, so im debating if i should upgrade to17inch wheels.

you see many of these on sale with newer tires for about 700 to 900.

I thought the TL's rims didn't work as it has a 5x120mm bolt pattern as opposed to the Accord's 5x114.3mm pattern?

The only ones with the 5x120 bolt pattern are the new Odyssey, the (I think) Ridgeline, and the Acura RL - that may have been what you're thinking about....

No, TL and Accord have the same bolt pattern. Now the offset is different. The TL is 45 while I think the Accord is 55 or 50? Not sure there, but I know they are different.

The TL wheels will fit. There are tons of people who have them and they look great on the Accords.

Just to throw this out there then...is it possible to upgrade the Accord's braking system to the TL's Brembo rotors/calipers? Also, would this fit in the Accord's stock rim...or is it too small for those brakes?

Jason, I remember a long time ago you were complaining that the car was riding a bit too harsh for your taste. Do you think it's worth the tradeoff? I think the ride will become noticeably firmer.

Pictures anyone?

Does anyone have a picture of their Accord with the Acura TL 17" wheels? I would love to see how they look on a graphite pearl sedan

My new 05 accord with TL rims/tires

I'll try a photoshop for you later...maybe try to change it to graphite and change the bumper/grill (probably not going to work so well...)

Thanks Ben!

Anyone know where to find these rims relavitely cheap? I have checked some Acura forums and every set people are selling have nicks/curb rash Now I would think that since a lot of TL owners put on pimped out rims that the stock oem TL wheels would be easy/cheap to find, right?

Talking

Benjiboy659 (BEN), wow you do remember me..I am impressed. Yes I was concerned in the past of the ride (how the ride is too firm for my taste). But I had my 04 accord for over 2 years and 124k miles(yes 124k miles) and I am used to it now :-)

Actually, there are alot of people who post forums here and I was really surprised that you remember me. Thanks!
