I just got one for mine at the dealer. It was 5 min down the road, in stock, and only $20 CAD. I thought that was a VERY reasonable price, considering a Fram air filter at the parts store was $22 CAD.

^ Agreed, this is probably a part you could source from a dealership for not much. Don't have to wait for shipping either!

rockauto has a myriad of them for under $10 shipped to your door and you don't have to go anywhere. Why one earth would you want a Honda air filter?

03LXV6 for the win!! That was the search page I was looking for. I have Prime so all shipping is free for me...saves me driving to the dealer and looking at the '17 tourings they have left and making "bad decisions when approached by a salesman" LOL.

What is the difference between the Fram and Honda one anyways?
I have always used the Honnda Air filter and had good results.

I use Wix filters when I can. I got a Fram one for Selene because that's all they had for her at AutoZone, last time I bought one.

I see the WIX filters are cheaper. There only 14 where the Honda ones are 20$.

I'm telling you pal, <$10 rockauto. You could probably use paper towels and be OK. It's an air filter for goodness sakes.

Some people want OEM rubber wiper blades and have them installed at the dealer for $40, and OEM cabin filter installed for $60. OEM battery swapped out for $200.

I have spent just $25 on a single K&N drop-in filter, for the last almost 11 years.

You realize that the rubber on the OEM blades is super cheap, replaceable and they tell you exactly how to do that in the Owner's Manual?

I hate aftermarket blades because they never attach like OEM ones and I can't take them off unless I completely destroy the blades, plus you have to replace the blade assemblies, not just the rubber.

You ever have to buy soap and oil for it?

My comment about cleaning an air filter below is for K & N filters which by design can be cleaned, oiled and reinstalled. Do not attempt to wash a regular paper air filter
I cleaned mine with soapy water, let it dry and sprayed a little Pam on it. While I probably wouldn't recommend this to others, it seems to have done the trick.
Edit: qman, I read your signature that you also have a K&N in your 7th gen. For me, the extra power in my 2007 was very noticeable vs the stock filter, do you agree?

I have had the same clean/oil kit from K&N, since 15 years ago, passed down from my last car. The same K&N drop-in filter has been in there for nearly 11 years. I don't have any engine problems. The filter has been used for 265000 miles.

I have used the same set of Silblade silicone based wiper blades, also for the last nearly 11 years. I have never replaced wiper blades again or spent another dime on it. Sure, I had to replace the entire arms, but the silicone blades do not degrade like rubber. OEM rubber blades require replacement every 6 months, especially when you live in the snow belt.
