The "Accord" nameplate fell off when I closed the trunk...

Not a thing, though I need to investigate an oil leak near the front right area of the engine.

Not broken but loose...

The steering column surround that houses the multi-function switches is loose. Not that it will fall off, but I can rotate it a half inch or so...

HI HO, HI HO, Off to the dealer I go....

Alternator went. I spent $500 for the dealer to install one instead of just using a $100 reman alternator with a lifetime warranty. It's a 10-minute job but oh well. Sure is nice having my parents' credit card to pay for things.

That was a jab back at jimijam ... kind of an ongoing site banter thing, not a real thing ... except for #5 spark plug, and certain model year trannies blowing up like an IED ... but a lot of 4 bangers burn oil too, so both sides are sort of validated. Sort of, but not really.

I finally fished the penny out of the 12V adapter hole since I'm going on a long trip this weekend....

Only to find that the outlet is dead! Could the penny have bridged a short? IDK but i hope it's a blown fuse or somthing i can fix before tomorrow!
